Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working in schools, medical settings, and private practice. Each setting serves an important purpose, but each also has its own role, priorities, and limitations.

As I moved between them, I noticed something that stayed the same.

Families were often left trying to connect the pieces themselves.

One professional focused on helping a child access their education. Another worked on feeding or medical concerns. Another addressed developmental milestones. Each was doing exactly what they were trained to do, but parents were often left wondering:

What does all of this mean for my child?

How do these recommendations fit together?

What should we do next?

I've seen families leave appointments with more questions than answers—not because anyone failed them, but because no one had the time or role to bring everything together into one clear picture.

That's why I created The Village Speech & Language.

My goal isn't just to provide speech and language therapy. It's to help families understand their child's unique strengths, challenges, and possibilities while bringing together the information, recommendations, and goals from the people involved in their child's care.

Having worked across multiple settings, I understand what each environment is designed to accomplish, what services may or may not be available, and how those pieces can complement one another. I want to help families navigate those systems with confidence instead of feeling like they're doing it alone.

Because therapy shouldn't happen in isolation.

When parents, caregivers, teachers, physicians, therapists, and specialists understand one another and work toward shared goals, children have the greatest opportunity to thrive.

That's the village I hope to help build.
